Leadership
Dr. Grandmaster Kwan Jang Nim Cariati
IX Dan
As the head of the International Chang-Hon Taekwon-Do Federation, Dr. Grandmaster Cariati brings decades of experience and vision. His leadership keeps ICTF standards high in instruction and practice worldwide.
Grandmaster Cariati began his martial arts training in the early 1970s and is one of the most senior Chang-Hon Taekwon-Do practitioners in the world today. He served and worked with the late Founder of Taekwon-Do, General Choi Hong-Hi, during the last 15 years of the General's life, learning the original technique in its most authentic form.
Between 1991 and 2002 he travelled with the Founder as his Personal Assistant throughout North America, South America, and Europe. Living and working side by side with the Founder gave him deep knowledge of the original Taekwon-Do technique developed in that final period.
